Today at Microsofts Press Conference, totally unpredicted, was the announcement of Metal Gear Solid Rising, the newest entry in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. We had had teasers about it from the official site and now we have a confirmation of it on the 360. Rumor has it that it is also going to the PS3 and PC, we will see about that tomorrow. So far it looks like Raiden has gotten a bit more injured since his excursions in MGS4:GotP. Also, maybe the Sunny part of the teaser suggests Sunny as a partner or this could very well be the Metal Gear Solid 2.5 about Raiden between the events of 2 and 4 where he went to go save Sunny from the Patriots and met with the doctor that made him a cyborg. I’m leaning on choice two. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
