With E3 2016 around the corner, many gamers are expecting it to be a hype-filled expo with many surprises. While we can think of several announcements that would make gamers giddy with joy (like a progress report on Shenmue III), a reboot for Sony’s original mascot, Crash Bandicoot, would top the list.

Everyone’s favorite anthropomorphic marsupial could be making a comeback, per a recent photo tweeted out from Sony Playstation’s Middle East account.

For those of you not fluent in Arabic, the message coupled with the photo translates to:

“Most wanted person. Where are you, Crash?”

What do all think about this? Is Sony teasing us with an outcome that is ultimately inevitable (at least, Sony WW Studios President, Shuhei Yoshida, thinks so)? Or do you think we will see something at this year’s E3? Let us know in the comments section below!

I think it’s just a cool nod to his long absence. But this could certainly be leading up to something!
