Looking for a bargain this weekend?
Well, the UK’s top supermarkets have gone to war over FIFA 10 and for a limited time you can buy the game for as low as £24.99.
More details after the break.
Despite the steep RRP of £49.99, supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys have gone to war to see who can out cut the other in a fierce price war which seems to have seen Tesco coming in first followed shortly by the other major chains.
We presume that this will be a limited time offer so take advantage while you can, prices follow:
Tesco £24.97
Asda £26.71
Sainsbury’s £37.00
Morrisons £24.99 at some stores, £32.99 at others
There have also been a few online reports of large queues outside some 24 hour supermarkets as gamers sought to get hold of their copies, so we advise to check with your local store first.
In comparison major games retailers Game and Gamestation still have PS3 and 360 copies selling at the £39.99 full price, although we are told that Gamestation have allowed customers to buy the game at the Tesco price of £24.99 through it’s Price Match policy however your local stores will have to be within 10 miles of each other.
