A new digital distribution service for games is on it’s way. However, this one has a twist. It’s called Green Man Gaming and the concept allows gamers to ‘Trade-In’ titles that they have bought and downloaded directly from them. The firm will then re-sell that game’s license code to another customer for a ‘pre-owned’ price, with publishers and content owners getting a cut of the profit.
“Previously the minute you had paid your money and downloaded your game it had no re-sale value,†said Green Man Gaming COO Gian Luzio. Pre-owned games are pretty good for gamers and helps them have a little more cash in their pockets to buy the latest releases. It’s also great for developers since they get some small benefit from the current pre-owned market.

This week Nintendo’s added Art Style: precipice for DSiWare and Overturn, Tecmo Bowl and….Sexy Poker for WiiWare?! Yes, it’s true. Sexy poker. Yes, now you too can play “strip poker
against a selection of six lovely manga-style women who may wind up in nothing but swimsuits or underwear when the final hand is dealt” on your Nintendo Wii. Granted, your poker opponents are only striped down to their swimsuits (how convenient that they wore them that day…), but simply allowing the word “Sexy” in the title of a WiiWare game is a big concession for Nintendo. Provocative Poker? Maybe. But Sexy Poker from Nintendo? We would have never guessed…especially when Sexy Poker is banned in Australia.
