The “Vice President of PlayStation” Kevin Butler is at it again. In the very first commercial for Sony’s PlayStation Move, Sony makes sure to compare it to the Wii and Microsoft’s Project Natal. On how accurate Move can be when it tracks movement, the fictional took a jab at waggle, “‘Not just like this (waggle motion), but like this . . . ‘Cause real boxers don’t hit like this (waggle).”
Now onto Project Natal bashing. On its lack of buttons: “Plus, PlayStation move is not only crazy precise, it’s also got what we in the future call “buttons,” which turn out to be pretty important to those handful of millions of people who enjoy playing a shooter or platformers or, well, anything that doesn’t involve catching a big red ball. I mean, come on, who wants to pretend their hand is a gun. What is this? The Third grade? Pew. Pew. Pew. Pew. *skeptical laughter*”
