Following the massive success of concerts like Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy and A New World: intimate music from Final Fantasy comes a new experience that will resonate with game music aficionados. Introducing Piano Opera: music from Final Fantasy, the ‘official piano concert dedicated to the music of the video game series Final Fantasy’ (per Wildfaery).

Like its two predecessors, Piano Opera is under the direct supervision of Nobuo Uematsu, the original composer behind the Final Fantasy series. In addition, the songs will be performed by acclaimed pianist, Hiroyuki Nakayama. Attendees can expect to hear fan favorites, such as (but not limited to): Liberi Fatali (Final Fantasy VIII), Roses of May (Final Fantasy IX), and Fight On! (Final Fantasy VII).

This international concert will be stopping in several cities throughout the upcoming months. Unfortunately, Los Angeles and New York City are the only US cities that have been announced for the concert’s initial tour. Both concerts will be happening throughout February 26th-28th, 2016 (New York City on February 26th, Los Angeles on February 28th). If you live in either of these cities, be sure to grab tickets for this momentous occasion. You can find tickets for LA and NYC at the links below.
