OnLive is a new video game service that is different from anything we’ve seen. This different is great. Basically, you will be able to get tons of games through a server that will transmit them over broadband to your house. You can hook it up to your TV or your PC and just play. The resolution depends on your broadband connection.
However, the downside is that there is only one controller, meaning that PS3 games and 360 games would be played using the same controller. Although, it appears that they are only planning on having PC games available at launch. Essentially, you will not own any physical copies of games, you’ll just get them streamed virtually after buying them. There will be a full write up about this later with our thoughts on where this will lead the industry.
