Nuka-Cola Quantum is Back (For Now)

Nuka-Cola Quantum, everyone’s favorite post-apocalyptic beverage, is back in Target stores today! You may want to hurry though, as stock is running out quickly.

As of 11:21 AM, this is the current inventory for Nuka-Cola Quantum in Target stores across the city of Austin. Due to some great logistical leadership/preparation by Target employees, customers are being limited by the amount they can purchase. Albeit, this will only keep the inventory alive for a few hours…so if you are on the fence about purchasing one, I highly suggest you do so quickly!

The restock comes in response a month after customers took to the Target/Jones Soda Co. social media accounts, and displayed their disappointment. There has been no official word yet on whether another restock will happen after this.

To enlighten the folks new to this craze, Nuka-Cola Quantum is an in-game beverage originally found in the Fallout series. In-game, the beverage boosts certain stats and will replenish lost HP…all at the tiny cost of a few rads (i.e.: radiation). As you can imagine, this real-life replication is rad-free (but does come in a tasty Berry Lemonade flavor!).

Were you successful in picking up Nuka-Cola Quantum during today’s restock? Let us know in the comments!

I was going to pick some up to share with some friends that love Fallout greatly. The website said two Targets had it in stock, but, both of them do not. The online inventory thing is not accurate. The Target closest to my house said they never had it in stock. I asked in Electronics and Customer Service. So not all Targets got it. How odd :(

Thanks for sharing that piece of info., Nick. That’s rather strange, as the online inventory systems for Target usually update every 1-2 hours. Here’s to hoping they weren’t just saying that in an effort to keep the sodas themselves!
