Nintendo Podcast System Episode#5: Nothing has happened

Despite the title, a good amount of things were talked about in this week’s episode. The cast talk about the successful kickstarter for Playtonic’s debut title Yooka-Laylee, how the new Fire Emblem game will use amiibo and our thoughts on the Splatoon direct (though keep in mind this was recorded before the direct aired, so these are our predictions). Make sure to tell us your thoughts in the comments below, at our Twitter or our Facebook. Oh, and it’s OK that some Japanese football RPG is better than Majora’s Mask, right?

As mentioned in the end, the intro and ending have come from the channel Shady Cicada. He does some really awesome rock remixes of Nintendo tunes, so make sure to check him out. The intro was a cover of Never Let Up! (from Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros.), and the ending theme was Dark Pit’s theme.

Like many other game writers, Matthew was brought into the gaming world from a young age. He aspires to be a games journalist in the future. Oh, and he's from the UK, so there's that. He also does Nintendo Podcast System, just in case there isn't enough Nintendo on this site.
