New WoW Races

Wow Insider is reporting that some of their secret sources have leaked that Cataclysm is indeed the name of the next WoW expansion and that it will feature the Worgen as a playable race for the Alliance and the Goblins as a playable race for the Horde. If indeed World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is the new expansion, more information will undoubtedly be revealed at Blizzcon on August 21 through the 22. Will the neutral Goblins stay neutral? Or will there be some kind of cataclsym that takes place in Azeroth that makes them reconsider their views? Your guess is as good as ours! Stay tuned to VGTribune for more updates, but in the mean time let the speculation flow in the comments.

  1. zalitz says:

imo world of warcraft does not need anymore race maybe another class but the idea of goblins and worgen as playable races sound odd there were ok as npc and mobs

  2. Yeah, I do agree….those races sound a bit odd as playable characters.

But as far as I’m concerned…in any MMO….the more playable races, the better! I love variety in a game that tries to never end. xD
