A steady stream of information regarding the upcoming Xbox exclusive, Gears of War 4, has been released (courtesy of Game Informer).
The new title will be focusing on JD Fenix (Marcus Fenix’s son), who will be voiced by Liam McIntyre. According to McIntyre, JD is a bit of a “freedom fighter but different than Marcus Fenix.” Joining JD Fenix is Kait Diaz and Delmont “Del” Walker, played by Laura Bailey and Eugene Byrd respectively. With new weapons, enemies, and a brand new campaign set 25 years after Gears of War 3, Game Informer’s story sheds light on what to expect in the upcoming shooter. Unfortunately, Co-op will be scaled back from four to two players for the campaign mode. However, gamers will be able to play split screen locally.
No details have been released for the Multiplayer Mode. The Coalition (Gears of War 4 developer) has promised gamers to expect the series’ standard modes though, and are working hard to make sure fans are satisfied.
