Welcome to the VG Tribune’s 4th edition of Music Monday! Every week, our staff and readers will highlight different tracks from various video games.

To start things off, Will Thompson has provided us with the ‘Ryugu Castle Theme’ from Goemon’s Great Adventure (Nintendo 64). Fans of the Goemon/Mystical Ninja series know this track for its upbeat tempo that keeps you pounding away at those annoying kappas and skull crabs.

Matthew Gibson has selected the Theme from the Professor Layton series, with a ‘Fighting Game Style’ twist!

I’ve selected the eerie ‘Mysterious Green’ from Beyond Oasis (Sega Genesis). This foreboding track acts as the Forest Shrine’s theme song.

Finally from our fan submission queue, we have Kazakh’s Theme from Strider 2014 (Multi-platform) which was submitted by Bradley Wells.

As always, we love fans’ suggestions for game music! Feel free to let us know what your favorite video game tracks are by commenting below.
