Music from NieR and NieR: Automata are getting a vinyl release in Japan later this year, Square Enix Music announced on Twitter. Each game’s soundtrack will be getting a separate limited edition double LP release, with selections of music chosen by its composer Keiichi Okabe, and sleeve art by Tokyo Ghoul artist Sui Ishida. The two soundtracks will also be available together in a box set as seen above, featuring the face of the series’ de facto mascot Emil, also drawn by Ishida.

The soundtracks will be released on December 20, and pre-orders will open on September 25, but attendees of the Tokyo Game Show later this month will be able to get their hands on it first at the Square Enix Music booth. No word yet on release outside of Japan, but for now you can admire the records below.
