Did you hear that? That was the sound of millions of Metal Gear fans gasping in unison and pulling out their wallets to buy tickets to the Metal Gear Solid movie. Although some have argued that the Metal Gear Solid series has been one long movie, except for select parts where you could actually play the game, a new “spy cam” shot raises the possibility that the real Metal Gear Solid movie confirmed in 2006 is set for release in July of 2011. If the poster supposedly found at Sony Pictures’ Culver City, California offices is legitimate, the movie would star Christian Bale of Batman fame as Solid Snake, Daniel Craig of 007 as Liquid Snake with Hideo Kojima at the helm as the Director.
