This video snippet from today’s Nintendo Direct conference gives us the first look at MiiVerse social integration into Nintendo’s games. The clip above, courtesy of our friends at GoNintendo offers us an exciting glimpse of what I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of at E3 next week in regards to Wii U’s functionality.

Also, once again thanks to the GoNintendo staff’s amazing eyes, one screen cap of the game seems to confirm the existence of Baby Yoshis and the Tanooki suit’s flying squirrel variant in the upcoming Mario title for Wii U, set to be confirmed on Tuesday at Nintendo’s Press Conference. By the way, is the “Cleared in Under 100 Seconds” gold blurb in the screenshot our first indication of some sort of achievement system on Wii U?
