Japanese Artist ‘Makaon’ Makes Video Game and Nerd-Culture Icons from Aluminium Cans

One man’s trash is truly another man’s treasure. Japanese artist Makaon decided that he was going to use old aluminum cans to create statues of some of the most iconic video game and nerd-culture characters in history. I’m particularly impressed by the Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard set. I’d love to have those pieces sitting on my desk.
