Many gamers have other passions in their lives other than games such as comic books, crocheting and yes, even sports. If you’re one of the sports loving gamers (or one of the unicorn loving ones as well), you might be interested in what has been done to ESPN.com. If you go to ESPN.com, click inside your browser and enter the Konami code:
A unicorn or rainbow will pop up on your screen. Every keystroke afterwards will result in adding another unicorn to the page. Just refresh the page and all the unicorns and rainbows will go away. Rinse and repeat.
We’re not quite sure if it was Konami and ESPN who were the ones inspired to include this easter egg or why someone would ever enter the Konami code at ESPN.cop. Was it a hacker who happens to be a gamer, has lots of time on his hands and who has a vendetta against ESPN? We;ll let you know as soon as we do.
