UPDATE (as of 3:29 PM Central Time): Jones Soda Co. has written an official statement addressing the Nuka-Cola Quantum shortage via their Facebook page.

ORIGINAL STORY: Per an article we wrote yesterday regarding Nuka-Cola Quantum being sold out in Target stores across the United States, Jones Soda Co. (the beverage’s creator) has taken to Twitter to help clarify some facts regarding the situation. Gamers will be happy to know that the company is doing everything in its power to try and get more inventory into stores.

A piece of good news is that the soda company is more than willing to supply more Nuka-Cola Quantum – it’s now up to Target on whether to order more shipments of it. “…we made this product for target and thy are in charge of its release…. We hope they order more!”, stated Jones Soda Co., in a response tweet.

Jones Soda Co. has also encouraged customers to reach out to Target directly about restocking.

The saying “There’s Power in Numbers” holds true for many situations. It also can for the Nuka-Cola Quantum shortage. If you have a Facebook or Twitter account, be sure to let Target know about your frustrations regarding the shortage, and tell them you want more! We’ve included links to Target’s social media accounts, if you are interested in contacting them.

Good on Jones Soda. I cannot, for the life of me, see Target not agreeing to this. Derps on ebay are making tons on this tiny bottle of pop. To say no to something they know would sell would be like them throwing money on a bon fire, and slapping customers in the face at the same time.
