Alright, so we are in the final stretch of '08, aka the Holiday season meaning a ton of games are coming out.  So what am I excited for?  Read below.

 Number 10:

Moon (DS)

Moon is a DS game that I kept hearing some hype about but never really cared about.  It's an unknown game with an unknown publisher, Mastiff.  Being devoloped by Renegade Kid, none of their work comes to mind.  When I was reading Matt Cassamassina's blog, as I always do, I saw him remarking about how Moon is a lot like Metroid on the DS done right.  When I heard that from him, I knew that this must be a good game.  I am excited for it, obviously, as it made the list.  It is coming out November 18, 2008.  It is an FPS in which you navigate the Moon fighting aliens.  It sounds cliche, but on the DS it sounds great.  I am really anticipating this game and am excited to play it this holiday season. 

 Number 9:

Samba de Amigo Wii (Wii)

As you know, I am excited about this game.  I really like Sega's classic characters, and while lately we have seen poor renditions of Sonic and NiGHTS, I have faith in our little monkey friend Amigo.  I like the maraccas and hope that this game is good, it is hard for even Sega to ruin a rhythm game.  Comes out September 23, 2008.

Fallout 3 was given a date an Leipzig to be a release of October 28, 2008.  I think I might pick it up.  It's supposed to have 100 hours of gameplay in it alone and is a very interesting style of RPG and FPS mixed together which makes me curious about the game.  I also like the idea of a post-apoclyptic Earth. It is coming out for 360, PS3 and PC.

Today at the Leipzeg Game Convention in Germany, at the end of Konami's Press Conference, Lords of Shadow was announced in a quick teaser video showing a man fighting a monster in front of a church with a whip.  So far speculation is that this is a new Castlevania title.  It will be for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010.

We've always ben fans of the Team Fortress 2 trailers, and the new "Meet The Sandwich" video is no exception, giving us plenty of "lawlz" as the kids these days say. Watch, enjoy, and maybe even make yourself a sandwich.

Our love for killing zombies not only applies to videogames, but it also applies to watching zombies being killed in game trailers, especially in the Resident Evil 5 "Leipzig" trailer above. Facing a zombie with a giant axe? Great! Killing zombies on motorcycles? Even better! This footage just makes the wait to the title's May launch date even longer.

Mmmmmm world exclusive trailer. Although world exclusives are always tasty, the graphics on this one remind us a bit too much of Grand Theft Auto. But that didn't stop it's predecessor from selling well last time. We expect this one will do just as well, if not better. The God Father II is only for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, there's no The God Father: The Black Hand love for Wii as of yet. Do we have any God Father fans excited for the game out there? Now if you'll excuse us, we'll get back to listening to Jonathan Coulton songs as we get ready to move our "offices."

Game Informer will have the full wrap on the game in their new issue when it goes on sale August 18. Heres what we know so far:

"Batman: Arkham Asylum from Rocksteady Studios and Eidos. This completely original title explores Gotham City’s darkest location, the infamous Arkham Asylum. But as a routine prison transfer goes wrong, the Joker sets his demented plan into action and Batman comes face to face with an army of his worst enemies. In a dark and gritty setting reminiscent of Bioshock (with a story co-written by Paul Dini), Arkham Asylum is setting the stage for a true-to-character Batman game."

Heres to hoping that the rumored Pandemic developed Batman is indeed in the works as well. The more the merrier right? Well, as long as it isn't a repeat of Superman 64 (which doesn't look to be the case), because 2 doses of Superman 64 is enough to kill a man.
