Our love for killing zombies not only applies to videogames, but it also applies to watching zombies being killed in game trailers, especially in the Resident Evil 5 "Leipzig" trailer above. Facing a zombie with a giant axe? Great! Killing zombies on motorcycles? Even better! This footage just makes the wait to the title's May launch date even longer.

High Voltage wants The Conduit to feature LAN multiplayer

There's  a reason why people keep saying that The Conduit is the most important 3rd-Party Wii title. Even if it did have a publisher it's still one of the most ambitious games coming to the system. High Voltage is really trying their best to make The Conduit a solid "A+" game, featuring impressive visuals brought to the table with the Wii specific Quantum3 engine, 16 player online multiplayer deathmatch modes, and the first 3rd-party Wii game to use WiiSpeak accessory for online voice chat.

Well some more good news has come out from Chief Creative Officer of High Voltage. During an interview with 4 Color Rebellion, Eric Nofsinger stated that "Our plan is to deliver a solid multiplayer experience both online and LAN" when asked about multiplayer features. I had tons of fun with the system link feature in Halo's multiplayer, and I really hope The Conduit can emulate the sheer joy of swearing to friends across the room and yelling "SCREEN LOOKER!" for hours on end.

Batman: Arkham Asylum revealed by Game Informer, detailed in next issue

Game Informer Joker EditionGame Informer Batman Edition

Game Informer will have the full wrap on the game in their new issue when it goes on sale August 18. Heres what we know so far:

"Batman: Arkham Asylum from Rocksteady Studios and Eidos. This completely original title explores Gotham City’s darkest location, the infamous Arkham Asylum. But as a routine prison transfer goes wrong, the Joker sets his demented plan into action and Batman comes face to face with an army of his worst enemies. In a dark and gritty setting reminiscent of Bioshock (with a story co-written by Paul Dini), Arkham Asylum is setting the stage for a true-to-character Batman game."

Heres to hoping that the rumored Pandemic developed Batman is indeed in the works as well. The more the merrier right? Well, as long as it isn't a repeat of Superman 64 (which doesn't look to be the case), because 2 doses of Superman 64 is enough to kill a man.

Zelda Marathon scores over $1,300, why haven't you donated yet?

Marathons have a pretty big following here with the VGTribune staff, and we like to try to keep you up to date whenever any big marathon pops up. Well right now, the same people behind the Mario Marathon are at it once more, and they have set out to beat 7 Zelda games in 70 hours. They have also have a donation window open, and all donations go to Child's Play. The current donation count is somewhere around $1,300, and the team sets to have over $2,000 by the end of the day. Right now the team is playing Minish Cap, which I have not seen on the list. Either they beat all the games already and they're killing time, or they decided to start finishing all the 2-D Zelda games.

You can watch the marathon on ustream.tv, or by clicking the header image.

Red Steel 2 confirmed to use Wii MotionPlus

During a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, executive director for Red Steel 2 Alain Corre confirmed that the game has been in development for many months, and that the game is going to use Wii MotionPlus technology. Corre is aware of the lukewarm reception the first game recieved, and believes that "people understood that it was a first try on new technology, technology that wasn't completely finished. And our game tried to grab the best out of it, and was a bit rushed to be sure to offer something in year one to Wii consumers". With this new game, he hopes that the team can fully embrace the power of the Wii, and not shovel out a 75% finished game.

Here is the new jailbreak game play trailer for Saints Row 2.

Personally, I don't think this will get close to Grand Theft Auto at all. It looks good, but not as good as GTA.

Drakes Fortune

It’s one of the ps3's  prettish games and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was received very  well by the media. Hell, Even I want it and i don't have a Playstation Three. Fans of the series can expect some more adventure/shooting action as Naughty Dog has confirmed a sequel.

Christophe Balestra, VP at Naughty Dog, confirmed it in an interview, as reported by Jeux France.

One expected it and Christophe Balestra, vice-president of Naughty Dog, officially confirms it at the time of an interview with LCI: very good Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will have right to its continuation, of course better according to statements’ of the creators. One awaits the first images and information.

The translation isn’t the best, but you get the picture. Can’t say this was unexpected, given the immense critical success of the game. I can’t wait to see how nice this will look and i will straight here to post as soon as we receive more news on this.
