Dear Captain Rainbow,

Although you succeed to confuse us even more with each new video, you also succeed in  making us more intrigued with your game. Sure Birdo and that other guy are as weird as hades, but your distinct art direction captures our attention. Will you be coming to visit North America or Europe any time soon? Anyway, we look forward to hearing more from you!{mosquoteshow}

Best Regards,

If you're like me, chances are that Telltale's WiiWare outing have been the only game you've been looking forward to during the 2nd Quarter. The game was slated to come out sometime in July, but we have yet to see a solid release date. Telltale has confirmed to IGN that the game has been sent off to Nintendo, but because of the random release schedule that Nintendo has enforced, it is unknown when the game will actually be available.

The A.V. Club asks Mike Patton about Bionic Commando, voice work, and Rock Band

 One of my favorite vocalists, who happens to be in a few of my favorite bands, just recently did an interview with the A.V. Club regarding his recent input on voice acting for games and movies. The interview also goes off into focusing on his future music plans, and even talks about how he'd love to see a bunch of 10 year olds make music with Rock Band.

AVC: How does working on videogame voiceovers differ from, say, your work on I Am Legend?

MP: Well, I Am Legend was basically me screaming my balls off for four hours and not knowing what they were going to do with it. There was no script, no lines I had to read. It was basically a big screen in front of me, and they'd play a scene once, and I'd kind of memorize the action and then improvise. So in some ways, that was more like doing a vocal improv. The other stuff I've done has been much more scripted. You'd say one line, like, "I'm going to the store," and you'd say it 10 different ways. With I Am Legend basically I was doing much more sound design type of work.

One of our favorite bands here at VGTribune, Rush, sat down with Rockband behind the scenes at the Colbert Report to play their (uh-mazing) song "Tom Sawyer." Although they did fail at 31% on expert mode, it's still pretty cool watching them play their own song. Having said that, it must be surreal playing your own song on Rock Band.

InvenSense, the company who is working with Nintendo on Wii MotionPlus, has a video demoing the same technology that will be used in the Wii MotionPlus. Although most of the video isn't too exciting, it becomes really intriguing at the end when one can see the 1:1 motion that is being shown off. Cross your fingers for a 1:1 Zelda!

The multi colored Wii remotes we were promised.

Have you ever wished your Wii remote could be another color without having to bother with skins or plastic protectors? We felt the same and instead of waiting for Nintendo to release different colored Wii remotes, we decided to try our novice hands at modding something for a change.

This is our Wiimote:

 My plain, plain Wiimote.

This is the color we wanted it:

The color red.

And this is our journey, Modding for dummies: Wiimote painting, A how-to guide.
