On Friday, Reggie Fils-Aime appeared on the talk show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to say that the 3DS would not be released until next year, amongst a few other things and as he did so the collective hearts of gamers sank slightly because we want this beast now. Now apparently though he is “mistaken”.

According to Kotaku

Says who? According to sources close to company’s Japanese headquarters, the Nintendo of America exec made an error when he stated that the Nintendo 3DS would be out next year. Good thing he didn’t do that on nation-wide television!

Now I don’t know about you but I am fed up of all this nonsense surrounding the release date. If Nintendo don’t know then can they stop trying to tease us please. All I want is some solid news before my birthday (Aug 5th) and it to be out by October at the latest so Nintendo please listen. Are you fed up with this constant data switching or want it out around a set time? Please tell us in the comments.

With just a week away from a full reveal, LucasArts has released a juicy factsheet for the sequel to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The “big” new features include the force mind trick, force furry (aka maximum overdrive), and dual lightsabers. It’s actually not such a juicy fact sheet reveal after all, eh? Little bland.

Oh well, at least the Wii version still has exclusive multiplayer…what?!
