When asked if Nintendo would consider making games for other mobile platforms such as the iPhone, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata answered unfavorably to the idea.

We think Nintendo is a company whose value is recognized by the way that we combine great software experiences with particular hardware capabilities that only we can offer. Therefore, my feeling is that offering our IP on other devices would have an adverse impact on the overall value of our company and at the same time I think that it’s not something that would add value to Nintendo.

That sounds very similar to Apple’s strategy with Mac OS. That’s an uncannily similar symmetry.

Game: Mystique Chapter One: Foetus

I have to start by saying that Mystique is a bit of a different style of game for me to be playing, let alone reviewing. This is simply because I do not have the patience for a point and click game and I get scared easy. So to play a game which is a horror point and click puzzle game is relatively new for me. However was Mystique worth it?

I don’t know about you, but I’m a sure sucker for a Tower Defence game. I can’t count the hours I’ve wasted in front of a PC playing TD while I should have been working (mostly on this very site).

When I eventually leave the house I have found myself with a problem, I’m no longer in front of my PC and I can’t play a Tower Defence game. Yes, I am truly that addicted.
