A reminder that Steve Jobs is going to be taking the stage in Cupertino tomorrow for their yearly music event. VGTribune won’t be there, but we’ll do our best to keep you up to date via Twitter.

Potential announcements may include:

- New line of iPods, including the iPod Touch and the drastically revamped iPod Nano
- The release of iOS 4.1 along with Game Center (Apple’s take on an X-Box Live-esque social network)
- Talk of iOS 4 coming to the iPad
- Changes to iTunes, including potential streaming or social additions, as well as $0.99 TV show rentals.
- iTV, a rebranding and revamping of the Apple TV, now running on iOS with access to the App Store.

Good day, one and all. Just thought I’d jump in and introduce myself! I’m Zac Erickson, and am the newest writer here on VGTribune. I’m pumped to be a member of the team, even though a large portion of the team I’ve known from other engagements. Alexis and I have done podcasting together for a while now, and jumping onto the team seemed like a logical step.

What do I bring to the gaming discussion front? Well, I’m mostly interested in handheld/mobile gaming, so that’s probably where I’ll spend most of my time discussing. I spend way too much in the App Store, and have owned some sort of iteration of Nintendo’s handheld since the green and grey Game Boy days. I also own a 360 and Wii, so that should provide added excitement. I’m excited to be a part of the team, and look forward to interacting with the community.

The Alley of the Dolls is the latest installment in the franchise. The game starts in a kind of in media res to where Sam and Max are hiding in Stinky’s diner from a horde of Sam clones. This game is fairly interesting. It takes a kind of zombie apocalyptic setting combined with a mystery of what all is going down. The game focuses more on story than puzzle I feel and is once again not as innovative and new, but the story is really what pushes the game.
