Microsoft has revealed today that Sonic Adventure will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade starting September 15th. Sonic Adventure is the first in a series of Sega Dreamcast titles that they plan to bring to Xbox Live Arcade with added features including Achievements, with one of those other titles being the popular Crazy Taxi.

Sonic Adventure will be released on XBLA on September 15th for 800 MS points. That’s right, $10 for the Dreamcast game that started it all. It’s a steal but let’s face it. The game will probably go unnoticed because all of you Xbots out there will be playing Halo Reach, which drops a day earlier on September 14th.

Alongside the recent Epic Mickey collector’s edition, Disney’s giving us this great special edition for Tron: Evolution. If you haven’t heard, it’s kind of a big deal. It’s also kind of a big price. More info after the jump!

Harmonix and MTV Games have today released the full setlist for the upcoming Rock Band 3 due for release in October, looking at the list this is definitely a game you don’t want to miss with tracks from artist’s such as Them Crooked Vultures and Queens of the Stone Age.

“The Rock Band 3 soundtrack represents the strongest, most diverse collection of music ever assembled for a video game,” said Paul DeGooyer, senior vice president of electronic games, music and programming for MTV Games. “The addition of keyboards and vocal harmonies to the Rock Band platform massively broadens the music selection available to our players. You haven’t sung Queen’s epic “Bohemian Rhapsody” unless you’ve sung the harmony parts – and you can’t do that unless you have Rock Band 3.”

Without further ado, here is the entire, jaw-dropping Rock Band 3 setlist:

The Sacrifice is a piece of recently announced DLC for the Left 4 Dead series. It involves a similar story and setting as the previous DLC “The Passing” but The Sacrifice has you going though that campaign from the point of the original survivors (Bill, Zoey, Francis and Louis). The main thing about this DLC is at the end of the campaign the player(s) choose who will die (it is not known at this present time if the decision that is made will affect the passing campaign, where the left 4 dead 2 survivors meet with  the remaining left 4 dead survivors on the bridge during the passing).

Compatibly for the sacrifice will be compatible with both left for dead 1 & 2 (it does not really mean which version of the game you own you will still be able to play The Sacrifice, this does mean that the original survivors of left 4 dead 1 will be playable in left 4 dead 2 for the first time)

Pricing for the DLC will be similar to “The Passing” which means free for pc/mac and around 560 – 800 MSP for Xbox 360

This DLC was slated to be released 1 month after “The Passing” but due to “Valve Time” it has been pushed back. I think that due to info being released that “the Sacrifice” will see release within a 2 month window.

It’s been three months since Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption and it’s support for the title is still going strong. It’s latest downloadable content Liars and Cheats has been slated for a September 2a release and it’s packed with new content. With the latest Liars and Cheats players will be able to do everything from gamble to horse race online and have 15 new characters from the story mode to do so with for $8.

What to Expect: The Story

The DLC is set in the entirely new and unexplored Rapture Central Computing District of Rapture, you will take the role of a new Alpha series big daddy “Sigma”(playing as a  new big daddy suggests this is set ether before or after the main story but it is not known how the story of the DLC fit in with the main story yet), your job is to find “The Thinker” (a supercomputer that controls the district) with the help of Dr. Tenenbaum in-order to take down the dictatorship of Reed Wahl who controls the Rapture Central Computing District.

What to Expect: The New Toys/Weapons

The new DLC will include some new types of Guns and plasmids as well as the Master Protector Tonic (only Available to those who own the previous DLC The Protector Trials).

Scott Pilgrim is a graphic novel series turned video game with a movie tie in. It features various nostalgic video game references and deals with the social situations in life. Bryan Lee O’malley has stated that he based a lot of the characters and situations in Scott Pilgrim on his life growing up. Stating that it was a time in his life where video games felt real to him. You could say he had a form of synesthesia, except with video games.

The game itself focus’s more on the movie than it does the comic book, yet it has a lot more references to the comic than the movie, so it’s sort of a mixture between the two. There was a ton of content in the original graphic novels that made it into the game. However, there was also a lot of content that was cut, and some of that was original content. This article dives into the Scott Pilgrim lore, as well as the game design and art.

So sit back, relax, enjoy all the information, and be sure to let me know what you think.
