Secret Armory of General knoxx

The next DLC for borderlands will hit the Xbox 360 tomorrow with the Secret Armory of General Knoxx raising the level cap to 61, 44 new missions,  new vehicles,  new weapons and new enemy’s types. The DLC will cost 800 points ($10) with the PS3 and PC releases to follow on Thursday for the same price.

Harmonix and MTV Games have today announced that a special recording of The Who’s performance at the Super Bowl Half Time show will be available for download as Rock Band DLC, “The Who Super Bowl S-mashup” will be available in the Rock Band Music Store immediately after the Super Bowl.

You ever hate that you have to pre-order a game to get various content from the developer that should be free for everyone? Well that’s about to change now, since it seems you can get any and all pre-order DLC straight from Microsoft’s very own website. If you visit their online marketplace where they allow you to participate in various things and sign up for various contests, you can also sign in with your XboxLive account and search their game catalogs for content to add to you games. Where you can either pay for it, buy more points, and do various Xbox Live things. However, if you are persistent enough you can sometimes find these secret DLC download areas that aren’t normally found by the public.

So if you have Mass Effect 2, or plan to get it, you can get the DLC after the break. You should also hurry before Microsoft changes the price of it from free to 9,999 MS points. Read the rest of this entry »
