Alex Jones the producer on DmC, the reboot of Devil May Cry designed by Ninja Theory, confirmed today at Gamescom that Vergil will be a featured character. Although the exact details of how much influence he will have on the story wasn’t revealed, it would be Devil May Cry game without some mention of the twin brother. Vergil has always played an intricate part in the series storyline, although, mainly being the antagonistic part.
It seems that Ninja Theory would like him to be in more of a guidance role for Dante, and judging from the trailer below, it seems he might even join you in battle similar to that of Devil May Cry 3.
While many of the fans of the series are on the fence with this title, I have to give Ninja Theory some recognition here. Judging from all the content, trailers, and everything that has been released around DmC. They seem to be working very hard on making sure there is something in this game for every Devil May Cry fan. While this might not make for the best game, it is still an effort that they should be respected for.
You can view the trailer after the jump, but if you are a Devil May Cry fan, let us know how you feel about DmC. Do you like it? Do you dislike it? Tell us how you feel and if you have any questions about the title. Their may be an upcoming chance to get your voice heard by the developer so stay tuned. Read the rest of this entry »
